Choose to build and make your home uniquely your own

I was reading an article in the Wall Street Journal today that said builders are downsizing the average American's dream home. They are building smaller homes on smaller lots and removing amenities like fireplaces and media rooms.  Builders have also gone for the slimming effect, making houses deeper instead of wider and reducing the size of foyers that several years ago may have boasted a sweeping grand staircase.

As I was reading, I wondered if this downsizing was directly due to the economy or if it was more of a statement on how we entertain. Perhaps social norms dictate something different today than ten years ago or perhaps the economy has kept our entertaining lifestyles to a minimum.  Maybe there is less of a need to exhibit wealth in size, but rather there is more of a need to enjoy the quality of workmanship or the perfection of something built just for you.

Would you like to make these decisions for yourself?  Have you considered building, but feared being ostentatious or out of step with the economy?  Have you considered going into a smaller residence because you don't entertain at home anymore, but haven't been able to find the home that called your name?  Or maybe you have outgrown your primary residence and want to build something larger, something designed specifically for your family.  If you answered yes to any of these questions, it is time for you to consider building your new home.

New construction can be such a rewarding endeavor and we can help you make your home just the right fit for you.  Consider Dogwood Meadows in Hamilton Township. These homes are custom built by Edward Bucci Builders and the community is nearly sold out. With only three lots remaining, you need to act now.  Make your special place; design the special space that you call home.   I'd love to meet you and discuss the possibilities.  Please call me today at   609-658-2612.  ~ Joe Giancarli, http://www.njhomesource.net/
